At Baywood Court, you’re within easy reach of all Bay Area cities. You can reach Oakland International Airport by car or public transportation, usually in less than a half-hour. San Francisco International Airport, which is accessible both by car and BART, is less than an hour’s drive away.

Baywood Court’s recently renovated apartments are spacious, bright and charming. Common areas are comfortable, well-lit, beautifully appointed, and thoroughly enjoyed by our residents. Our well-maintained buildings and grounds feature landscaped pathways and lush flower and vegetable gardens. A lap-size swimming pool, hot tub, and gazebo are all conveniently located for your enjoyment.
Baywood Court is part of the lovely residential community that surrounds us in Castro Valley. Each year, the children and grandchildren of our residents, employees, and neighbors attend holiday events, enjoy barbecues, and participate in community celebrations.

At Baywood Court, there are no buy-in or entrance fees and there are no hidden costs. Residents maintain control of their own assets.
Your one monthly fee covers an array of amenities, including delicious daily meals prepared for you (two meals for Independent Living residents and three meals for Assisted Living and Health Center residents), weekly cleaning and linen service, local transportation, and a caring, attentive staff.
Freed from the obligations of owning a home, you no longer have to manage a home and garden, shop, plan and prepare meals, concern yourself with maintenance and repairs, or arrange for local transportation and can truly enjoy “the good life” that Baywood Court has to offer.

What are the advantages of living in a multi-level care senior community?
With three levels of living all located on one campus, Baywood Court residents are never far from friends and family. Our independent and assisted living residents enjoy the full complement of amenities Baywood Court has to offer, plus an array of interesting activities and programs. Our Health Center provides compassionate skilled nursing care.
What are the differences between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing?
Baywood Court’s independent living apartments offer a great value that includes two meals per day, weekly housekeeping, local transportation, and a host of other services and programs. Our assisted living accommodations include the same services and amenities available to our independent living residents, plus a mid-day meal and attentive personal assistance with bathing, medications, dressing, and other daily activities.
For those requiring a higher level of care, the Baywood Court Health Center provides rehabilitative and skilled nursing services. Licensed, fully equipped, and newly renovated, the Health Center features round-the-clock, multidisciplinary care provided by a warm, friendly, and experienced staff. Our progressive rehabilitative therapies are specifically designed to get Health Center residents back to health and into their homes. In addition, we provide personalized long-term care programs and respite care services.
What are the financial advantages of living at Baywood Court?

What is the history of Baywood Court?
Baywood Court was developed by Eden Hospital Health Services Corporation and opened in 1990. The corporate name was changed from Eden Hospital Health Services Corporation to Baywood Court in 2011. Baywood Court is a locally owned and operated California public-benefit corporation, with its own Board of Directors.
How are residents involved in planning activities at Baywood Court?
Baywood Court is a special place, thanks in a large part to the volunteer spirit of our residents. Many of our residents volunteer in one way or another, offering their many talents to help out with more than 100 activities. Our staff honors and values the broad interests, talents, and wisdom our residents bring to our community.
Who lives at Baywood Court?
Our residents come from all over the Bay Area and beyond. Talented in many fields, Baywood Court residents bring a variety of unique skills and interests to our community. Here, they create and participate in an extraordinary array of recreational and public-service activities. Some volunteers have provided five, 10, or more years of meaningful service to our community—and our staff and residents celebrate these accomplishments.
